About
Introduction
Founded in 1968, the Department of Public Finance and Tax Administration (formerly the Finance and Taxation Program of the Five-Year Junior College Division at the National Taipei Junior College of Business) was established to meet the growing demand for taxation professionals in Taiwan’s industrial and commercial sectors, and to promote balanced development within the nation’s technical and vocational education system.
In 2001, the institution was upgraded and renamed the National Taipei College of Business, and accordingly the Department was elevated to the Department of Public Finance and Tax Administration. Later, in 2014, the college was further upgraded and became the National Taipei University of Business (NTUB).
